Press service of the CEC informed that in accordance with Article 27 of the law “On elections to Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the Central Election Commission considered issues of pre-election agitation of political parties, candidates for the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan in the media. For ensuring equal rights of candidates to use mass media during the pre-election agitation, the Central Election Commission in consultation with political parties determined the order of using electronic and print media by candidates, political parties participating in elections to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.

The Central Election Commission also approved the design of posters informing voters about the election date, candidates for the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, regional, district and city councils of people’s representatives.

The Central Election Commission adopted appropriate resolutions on the discussed issues.

At the meeting, members of the CEC also considered other issues under its powers.
